Jackson Hewitt is seeking a Seasonal People Lead to guide and mentor 1st year tax pros in Atlantic City. You will facilitate training, validate tax prep accuracy, and support holds, overrides, voids, and discounts.

This role offers flexible schedules with day, night, and weekday options as part of a full-time seasonal arrangement. You will mentor teammates, provide guidance, and collaborate to meet office priorities, all while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer

• 2+ seasons of Jackson Hewitt tax experience.
• Experience completing individual tax returns.
• Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Completed Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent license is a bonus.

Job description

As a Seasonal People Lead, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and mentorship to 1st year tax pros. You will be facilitating and leading training for all first-year tax pros in your market, assigning additional trainings as needed, validating the accuracy of Tax Preparation of your cohort, reviewing operational deliverables (ie Amex, WFG, NPS), assisting with holds, overrides, voids and discounts, and providing support via Teams, LogMeIn and in person mentorship (as applicable).Flexible Schedules Available:

• Day shift
• Night shift
• Weekdays
• Full-time Seasonal

What you’ll do here:

• Conduct screenings with prospective tax pros.
• Generate business growth, increase first year tax pro retention, and offer support to those within your cohort.
• Proficient in the use of modern technology.
• Answer tax pro calls via Teams or phone.
• Answer tax related questions and provide guidance to tax pros in a timely fashion.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
• Mentor and support teammates, provide guidance and in some cases act as the lead.
• This position has access to and regularly works with information of a sensitive, highly confidential nature which requires a working knowledge of the business.
