Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to provide broad support in employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, and retention. You will partner with managers to address HR needs, support compensation processes, and enable organizational development.

The role requires 2+ years in HR, strong communication and confidentiality, and the ability to travel 10–15% to branch locations. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, with experience in Workday and Google Workspace valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist-type role.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus; strong communication and presentation skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR generalist support on employee relations, training, performance management, and retention activities.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies and practices including onboarding, compensation, and change management.
• Investigate basic employee concerns and partner with managers, safety, and employee relations to resolve issues.
• Support Workday transactions and ensure accurate, timely employee changes.
• Collaborate with COE groups to deliver full service to client groups and support engagement activities.
• Travel to branches and corporate locations ~10-15% as needed.

Sunrun is the largest dedicated residential solar and storage company in the country and has a mission to bring stably priced resilient power to the masses.Job DescriptionHuman Resources (People) Generalist with a relentless focus on customer experience, partners closely with functional management on HR related responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, employee relations, engagement, compensation, and retention activities.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide HR generalist and organizational support on a variety of People items.Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on a full range of HR policies and practices including; employee relations, performance management and enablement, training, development, change management, conflict resolution.Consult with managers and employees to proactively address employee relations items.Timely investigate basic employee concerns and partner with manager/safety/employee relations, etc. on resolution.Consult with and educate leaders on compensation, performance review processes, new hire onboarding, compensation, conflict resolution, etc.Support Workday transactional items and ensure employee changes are processed appropriately, accurately, and timely.Partner closely with Center of Excellence (COE) groups to ensure full service to client groups.Support a variety of engagement activities that align with our corporate values and support retention activities.Projects, innovations, creative problem solving, not only for client group but for entire organization.Any additional special projects or requests.Travel to branches and corporate locations to meet with leaders and employeesQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent, with 2+ years experience in an HR Generalist-type role.Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.Effective interpersonal skills, communication and presentation skills.Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills.Must possess the ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast paced environment while working independently.Must possess good judgment.Ability to travel ~10-15% of the time and spend time in local branchesFluency in Spanish a plusStrong computer skills required.
