Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Human Resources (People) Generalist to partner with management on HR activities across relations, performance, training, and engagement, with a customer-centric approach. The role supports compensation processes, onboarding, and policy guidance.

The position involves collaboration with COE groups, occasional travel to branch and corporate locations, and a hybrid office environment. Fluency in Spanish is a plus and Workday/Google Workspace proficiency is valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with Workday transactions to ensure accurate employee data.
• Collaborate with COE groups to provide full service to client groups.
• Support engagement activities aligned with corporate values and retention.
• Work on special projects or process improvements across the organization.
• Travel to branches and corporate locations to meet with leaders and employees.

Job Description

Human Resources (People) Generalist

with a relentless focus on customer experience, partners closely with functional management on HR related responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, employee relations, engagement, compensation, and retention activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR generalist and organizational support on a variety of People items.
• Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on a full range of HR policies and practices including; employee relations, performance management and enablement, training, development, change management, conflict resolution.
• Consult with managers and employees to proactively address employee relations items.
• Timely investigate basic employee concerns and partner with manager/safety/employee relations, etc. on resolution.
• Consult with and educate leaders on compensation, performance review processes, new hire onboarding, compensation, conflict resolution, etc.
• Support Workday transactional items and ensure employee changes are processed appropriately, accurately, and timely.
• Partner closely with Center of Excellence (COE) groups to ensure full service to client groups.
• Support a variety of engagement activities that align with our corporate values and support retention activities.
• Projects, innovations, creative problem solving, not only for client group but for entire organization.
• Any additional special projects or requests.
• Travel to branches and corporate locations to meet with leaders and employees

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent, with 2+ years experience in an HR Generalist-type role.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Effective interpersonal skills, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills.
• Must possess the ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast paced environment while working independently.
• Must possess good judgment.
• Ability to travel ~10-15% of the time and spend time in local branches
• Fluency in Spanish a plus
• Strong computer skills required. Knowledge of Workday and GoogleSuite Platform a plus
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows, or possess the agility and "growth mindset" to rapidly master new AI technologies as they are integrated into Sunrun’s operations.

Starting Salary/wage For This Opportunity

$66,798.09 to $89,064.12
