Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking a shuttle driver to meet, greet, and assist passengers while operating a 15-passenger shuttle at our Martinsburg facility. The role requires a valid driver’s license and at least three years of driving a multi-passenger vehicle, with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities include pre-trip checks, adherence to traffic laws, reporting incidents, and operating wheelchair lifts on handicap-equipped shuttles.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years driving experience with a multiple passenger vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Prepares shuttle for the day’s run and checks fluid and shuttle operation.
• Follows traffic laws and uses handsfree calling when needed.
• Reports accidents or incidents to supervisor immediately.
• Maintains shuttle cleanliness inside and out during non-peak hours.
• Operates wheelchair lift on handicap-equipped shuttles and communicates with drivers via radio.
