Job summary

ATEK Metal Technologies LLC is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our New Hampton facility. You will interact daily with employees and supervisors, supporting HR needs on the production floor and helping shape a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities include onboarding, recruiting support, maintaining HR records, and coordinating training and benefits administration. The role emphasizes relationship-building, organization, and confidential handling of information in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, customer service, or related administrative role.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain policies and build trust with employees.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee and supervisor questions and HR needs, resolving what you can directly.
• Support recruiting by sourcing candidates, screening applications, and conducting phone screens/interviews with hiring managers.
• Lead onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive start for new employees.
• Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and confidential files with high accuracy.
• Coordinate training records, compliance documentation, and other HR administrative processes.
• Assist with benefits administration, leave paperwork, and employment verifications.
• Help coordinate employee recognition, engagement initiatives, and company events.
• Facilitate communication between employees, supervisors, and HR to stay proactive and engaged.
