Job summary

Majestic Care in Whitehall, OH seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. The role focuses on fair, consistent care for team members and a culture aligned with our mission.

The position partners with leadership to manage leave, HRIS data integrity, I-9/EEO processes, OSHA tracking, and unemployment matters, supporting growth and caregiver satisfaction across the community.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in a human resources position; long-term care setting preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership in recruiting and on-boarding processes.
• Present and explain benefit plans to care team members and manage enrollment changes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
• Ensure accurate HRIS data and coordinate leave requests, PTO and documentation.
• Manage I-9 and E-Verify tasks and track EEO documents.
• Monitor OSHA 300 Log and incident investigations in collaboration with leadership.
• Handle unemployment claims and respond to related matters in a timely manner.
• Serve as liaison between care team members and Payroll for HRIS accuracy and updates.
