Job summary

KIPP Columbus is seeking a highly organized People & Finance Associate to strengthen the operational backbone of two teams—People and Finance—and help shape how trusted data informs decisions. This role blends shared services, data quality, and intelligence operations, supporting onboarding, payroll, purchasing, month‑end close, and grant reporting while staying aligned with HR and Finance leadership.

The position emphasizes process discipline, data fluency, and sound judgment, with room to grow

Qualifications

• Onboarding and offboarding coordination with documentation and records.
• Payroll readiness validation including time and compensation data.
• Maintain licensing, benefits, and compliance records with trackable deadlines.
• Manage routine inquiries and escalate complex matters to HR/Finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding tasks and document collection.
• Prepare offer/employment documents and maintain records in HRIS.
• Validate time/attendance/leave data for payroll readiness.
• Support month-end close, audits, and grant reporting cycles.
• Provide liaison support during peak HR/Finance periods.
