People Development Partner

Stow, OH, US

Help People Learn, Grow, and Flourish

Good Place Holdings is seeking a People Development Partner to lead and steward our organization-wide approach to training, education, and development. This role will shape the systems, strategies, and resources that help people grow personally and professionally, strengthen leadership capability, and connect everyday work to a greater purpose.

Rather than owning every employee development plan, the People Development Partner equips leaders and managers to support the growth of their teams. This person will design scalable development pathways, lead meaningful feedback loops, oversee learning and talent technologies, and ensure development is embedded throughout our organizations—not treated as a stand-alone activity.

What You’ll Lead
  • Steward the Training, Education, and Development strategy across Good Place Holdings organizations.
  • Lead and support the TED team, aligning priorities with our purpose, vision, and aims.
  • Design scalable development pathways that provide clear progression from entry to mastery.
  • Develop organization-wide feedback loops that strengthen development conversations, manager capability, organizational learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead enterprise approaches to mentorship, coaching, and personal and professional development.
  • Partner with organizational leaders to identify capability needs and establish development priorities.
  • Provide strategic oversight for job architecture, job descriptions, role-training matrices, and related development systems.
  • Set standards for learning resources, tools, data, reporting, and technology adoption.
  • Evaluate development outcomes and use insights to continuously strengthen programs and systems.
  • Champion a culture of humility, trust, curiosity, stewardship, lifelong learning, and human flourishing.
  • Model Good Place values through consistent leadership, relationships, decisions, and daily work.
What You Bring
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in learning and development, organizational development, talent development, or a related function.
  • Experience designing and leading development systems, programs, or strategies across an organization.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing leaders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing learning, performance, coaching, or talent-development systems across multiple teams or business units.
  • Experience using data to evaluate outcomes and leading change that results in sustained adoption.
  • Experience with LMS Systems, Cornerstone OnDemand learning and performance management systems is preferred.
Strengths That Will Help You Succeed
  • Strategic and systems thinking
  • Adult learning and instructional design
  • Organizational and talent development
  • Coaching and mentorship
  • Program design and continuous improvement
  • Facilitation and communication
  • Relationship building and influence
  • Data literacy and outcome evaluation
  • Change and project leadership
  • Empathy, adaptability, and curiosity
  • Familiarity with, or openness to, the biblical and values-based foundation that informs Good Place Holdings’ understanding of growth, purpose, stewardship, and human flourishing
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package
  • Paid vacation and sick time to support rest, well-being, and life outside of work
  • Paid volunteer time to give back and make a meaningful difference in our communities
  • Meaningful work that directly supports personal growth, professional development, and human flourishing
  • The opportunity to shape development strategy and systems across multiple Good Place Holdings organizations
  • A collaborative People Experience team committed to humility, trust, curiosity, stewardship, and continuous learning
  • The ability to build and improve enterprise-wide programs, feedback discussions, learning pathways, and talent technologies
  • Partnership with leaders across the organization and the opportunity to influence long-term organizational health
  • An environment where thoughtful experimentation, shared learning, and continuous improvement are encouraged
  • Opportunities to grow personally and professionally while helping others reach their potential
Why This Role Matters

At Good Place Holdings, we believe organizations flourish when people are encouraged and given meaningful opportunities to reach their potential. The People Development Partner will help bring that commitment to life by building development systems that are purposeful, practical, values-aligned, and capable of growing with our organizations.
