Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a seasoned People & Culture Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, driving talent strategies, workforce planning, teammate engagement, and organizational effectiveness across the enterprise. This role partners with Centers of Excellence to implement solutions that strengthen culture and support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of five years HR experience in a large health system or complex org.
• Experience partnering with leaders to develop and execute people strategies.
• Strong understanding of workforce planning, talent management, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
• Experience interpreting workforce data and human capital metrics to drive recommendations.
• Strong consulting, influencing, and relationship-management skills.
• Excellent communication, clear presentation of complex information.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage change, and provide sound judgment.
• Experience supporting organizational change, restructuring, and leader coaching.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, talent management, retention, succession planning, and teammate experience initiatives.
• Serve as trusted advisor, helping leaders make people decisions aligned with business objectives.
• Identify workforce trends through data analysis, leader feedback, teammate insights, and metrics.
• Collaborate with People & Culture Centers of Excellence to improve org effectiveness and employee experience.
• Support organizational design, restructures, and change initiatives; aid transitions.
• Coach leaders to strengthen leadership and culture; improve team effectiveness.
• Use workforce analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools to inform recommendations.
• Partner with Learning & Development to support leader development.
• Ensure compliance with employment regulations and P&C practices; escalate risks.
