Job summary

Bloom is partnering with Poppy & Peonies to recruit a People & Culture Specialist for a fully remote North America team. You will lead the day-to-day people function, shape HR programs, and partner with the founder and leadership to scale our culture and operations.

As an intermediate-level HR Generalist, you will manage onboarding, performance, benefits, employee relations, engagement, policies, and offboarding while supporting a growing remote team with thoughtful, consistent HR practices.

Qualifications

• Broad HR generalist remit spanning onboarding, employee life cycle, policies, benefits, and offboarding.
• Experience coaching managers through performance concerns and tough conversations.
• Experience supporting remote-first or distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with founders and leadership to translate business priorities into practical people plans.
• Develop workforce plans considering growth, capacity, and skill gaps.
• Provide leaders with HR guidance grounded in company values and practices.
• Establish metrics and insights to inform leadership decisions.
• Lead performance management, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
