Job summary

Crystal Group in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a People & Culture Intern for an on-site program. Schedule is Monday–Friday with local travel for events. You will support learning events, onboarding, surveys, and program communications while gaining exposure to employee-owner processes and benefits.

The role offers hands-on experience across People & Culture functions, coordinating community STEM activities, tours, and volunteer opportunities within a 100% employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Person (US citizen, permanent resident, or protected status).
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, or a related field.
• Interest in People & Culture, student engagement, and program coordination; prior HR experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the student internship program, track participation, and communicate schedules.
• Organize intern learning events and professional development activities.
• Prepare and distribute internship communications and reminders.
• Develop and administer intern satisfaction surveys and summarize feedback.
• Assist with recruiting and onboarding activities for interns.
• Support People & Culture documentation, data entry, and employee communications.
• Complete an assigned project with milestones and present results.
