Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a People Consultant to support Summit, NJ site leaders and People Managers. This role blends strategic HR partnership with hands-on operations to enhance the employee experience.

The successful candidate will influence senior leaders, manage complex workforce matters, and drive continuous improvement in People processes in a multinational, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of HR experience in a matrixed, international setting.
• Experience across HRBP, HR Generalist, and HR Operations roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to managers on complex workforce matters.
• Upskill new People Managers and coach senior leaders on HR processes.
• Use diagnostics and data to identify proactive HR interventions.
• Explain and enforce People processes across the site.
• Collaborate with People Services to deliver global priorities locally.
• Support rollout of global programmes and process improvements.
• Ensure awareness of employment legislation and market practices.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of lifecycle processes with HRBPs.
