Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a People Business Partner for a full-time, 100% remote role. Travel up to 40% to sites near major airports is required.

You'll assist with rolling out HR initiatives, policies, and programs within the People Strategy and Operations function, including onboarding, career ladders, succession planning and performance management. You will also lead employee relations and key HR operations such as compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR and Employee Relations experience.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to analyze multiple sources of information.
• Leadership and proactive mindset.
• Proficiency with MS Office, PeopleSoft, and SmartSheet.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action support.
• Identify employment-related risks with site managers and assist investigations.
• Manage HR functions (employment, labor relations, compensation) for a business unit.
• Conduct training on performance management and diversity.

• Coach others and share knowledge across HR disciplines.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values; build consensus.
• Impact activities within own team and related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.

Genesis10 is seeking a People Business Partner for a full time position with our client that is 100% remote. (Must live near a major airport as this role requires travel up to 40%)

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000/year

Looking for a People Business Partner who will assist with the roll-out and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. This job is part of the People Strategy and Operations function. They are responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of human resource programs and policies.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with the development of onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives in the organization.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and assist with issuing disciplinary action and performance improvement counseling.
• Work with site managers to identify employment-related risks and begin the discovery process of investigations and grievances.
• Manage several HR functions such as employment, labor relations, compensation, etc. for a business unit or line of business.
• Conduct training on a variety of topics including performance management, diversity, and more.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.

• Travel to our sites which could be up to 40% monthly - drive and overnight trips required.
• Preferred Warehouse-Fulfillment Centers -up to 50% walking in our large facilities.
• Live close to a major airport as they will be traveling weekly.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• 5+ years of HR and Employee Relations experience.
• HR/ER experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Passionate people leader who is a go getter.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, PeopleSoft & SmartSheet etc.
• ADP & Kronos experience are a plus
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
