Job summary

Genius AI is seeking a People Business Partner to own day-to-day HR partnership for Customer Experience, Data, and G&A teams in an in-office NYC setting. You will build trust in real-time, solve complex problems, and scale people practices across fast-moving organizations.

You will report to the Manager, People Business Partner and collaborate with senior leaders. The role requires commuting to NYC headquarters with in-person work 3-4 days weekly, including Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR business partnering or people operations, with a track record of owning performance management and employee relations independently
• Proven experience leveraging AI tools for people analytics, engagement insights, workforce planning, and workflow optimization
• Able to make decisions and move forward without perfect information, then adjust based on results
• Ability to translate data into strategic actions driving business and people outcomes
• Experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders

About the Role

We are looking for a People Business Partner to own the day-to-day HR partnership for our Customer Experience (CX), Data, and G&A teams. This isn’t a role where you’ll inherit a finished operation or a rigid playbook. You will be building trust in real-time, solving complex problems, and scaling people practices across distinct, fast-moving organizations. You will be the go-to strategic sounding board for managers on everything from performance management and organizational design to leadership coaching.

You will report to the Manager, People Business Partner. You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in an in-person environment. We default to being in-office 3-4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Drive the day-to-day HRBP relationship for Marketing, CX, Data, and G&A, managing performance cases end-to-end and escalating complex situations
• Lead coaching conversations and interactive workshops that sharpen how managers develop, support, and lead their teams
• Build deep fluency in your teams' goals and metrics so your guidance is grounded in real business context rather than a generic HR playbook
• Use data and trends across your client groups to spot organizational risk early and recommend action before it becomes a bigger problem
• Cultivate deep relationships across departments, becoming the advisor leaders turn to before a small friction point becomes a big problem
• Contribute to broader People team initiatives, like org health surveys and talent reviews
• Use AI to automate repeatable tasks and streamline workflows so your time can be spent on tasks that require human judgment

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR business partnering or people operations, with a track record of owning performance management and employee relations independently
• Proven experience leveraging AI tools for people analytics, engagement insights, workforce planning, and streamlining workflows that enable you to invest your time in high impact, high judgement tasks
• You make decisions and move: you don't wait for perfect information, you set a direction, ship something, and iterate based on what you learn
• Demonstrated ability to translate data and insights into strategic actions that drive measurable business and people outcomes
• Experience influencing and partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders

The base salary for this role is between $120,000 - $140,000 + equity + benefits. The compensation package offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
