Job summary

Avalara, Inc. is seeking a People Analytics Partner to translate workforce questions into structured analyses and executive narratives. You will influence hiring strategy, workforce planning, retention, and organizational health by delivering insights and dashboards.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition and People Business Partners, using SQL, BI tools, and statistics to drive action and improve recruiting quality at scale. This is a remote role within the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline.
3+ years in an HR analytics or business analytics role.
1+ year analyzing Talent Acquisition data, pipelines, and hiring metrics.
Fluency in SQL and advanced Excel for data extraction and modeling.
Experience with BI platforms and data storytelling.

Responsibilities

Partner with TA leaders and business partners to translate priorities into workforce analytics.
Monitor full-funnel recruiting metrics and recruiter capacity to improve efficiency.
Develop and present executive-ready data stories and dashboards.
Standardize core metrics and governance across ATS, HRIS, and engagement platforms.
