Job summary

Grand Ground Enterprise, LLC is seeking a full-time Program Manager to oversee contract and personnel supporting SAF/CN within the Department of the Air Force CIO organization. This role requires coordinating contractor execution across mission areas, managing taskings, schedules, deliverables, risks, and staffing to align with PWS requirements.

The position is on-site at the Pentagon with 40-hour work weeks.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, public administration, information technology, or a related field.
• At least six years of progressively responsible experience supporting federal/defense/professional services programs, incl. 3 years leading PM activities.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary contractor teams and staffing continuity.
• Strong executive-level oral and written communication, briefing, and meeting facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated management plan, task tracker, and staffing plan for PWS requirements.
• Monitor task owners, milestones, dependencies, and due dates; escalate high-risk actions.
• Send weekly Task due notifications and prepare leadership status slides.
• Plan meetings, develop agendas, record decisions, and track actions to closure.
• Support SAF/CN portfolio management and contract reviews including SMT/ETMS2 inputs.
• Prepare Monthly Status Reports and ad-hoc reports within deadlines.
• Maintain quality-control for reports, metrics, and records; ensure government review readiness.
• Maintain risk, issue, and decision logs; propose mitigations and notify issues promptly.
• Lead contractor personnel management, staffing continuity, and leave coordination with stakeholders.
• Lead recruiting and onboarding for contract vacancies to minimize service disruptions.
• Onboard new personnel with clearance, access, and orientation; ensure operational readiness.
• Assess workload and propose staffing adjustments to improve mission support and growth.
