Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking an NMCC Systems Engineer to design, implement, manage, and monitor systems within the National Military Command Center at the Pentagon. You will work with professionals across cyber, multimedia, and government teams to support mission-critical operations and ensure secure, scalable IT environments.

Qualifications include TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8750.01 IAT Level II certs, and extensive VMware, Windows Server, and Linux experience.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• TS/SCI security clearance required.
• DoD 8750.01 IAT Level II certifications: Security+ CE (preferred), CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP.
• BS in IT and 8 years experience or 8 years general experience with no degree.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience, 3+ years in administering computer systems.
• Experience with VMware deployments, Windows Server 2022/2019, Linux, AD and GP.
• Experience hardening systems per DISA guidelines and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage and monitor NMCC systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and apply patches.
• Document work in Remedy and report progress to leadership.
• Develop schedules and timelines for leadership review.
• Coordinate with vendors for IT solutions/integration within NMCC.
• Brief status updates to government and DoD personnel.
• Harden systems with DISA guidelines and cybersecurity practices.
