Job summary

MetLife invites applications for a hybrid Associate-level role in Pension & Investment Manager Oversight. You will analyze manager performance, support due diligence, and work with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Insurance teams to ensure effective oversight of Separate Account and Benefit Plans managers.

The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative background, 5+ years of experience, and familiarity with Aladdin, Bloomberg, and other analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (0-3 years for Sr. Analyst/Analyst role).
• Strong quantitative, analytical and technical skills with data troubleshooting ability.
• Proficiency with MS Office and investment analytics platforms (Aladdin, Bloomberg, BondEdge, eVestment, Morningstar).
• Experience using generative AI tools to summarize data and build reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in oversight of Separate Account and Benefit Plans investment managers; support unit operations and reporting.
• Develop, formalize, and refine workstreams, processes, and protocols with senior management.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Legal and Insurance teams and external asset managers and data providers.
• Review portfolio performance against benchmarks and peers; analyze risk-adjusted returns and attribution.
• Support due diligence through quantitative and qualitative assessments of management and organization.
