Job summary

The Nutrition Group has an open position for a Cook at a local K-12 School Cafeteria. The role focuses on cooking, food preparation and sanitation to support daily meals for students.

Responsibilities include placing food orders, controlling costs and inventory, and ensuring compliance with HACCP and health department regulations. You will also handle cashiering and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

• Food Service Experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to do basic math and read recipes
• Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks

Responsibilities

• Cooking and food preparation with proper sanitation
