The Position

As a CDL Equipment Operator, your duties include snow plowing, working on construction sites, operating heavy machinery, manual labor, minor equipment repairs, and routine maintenance on trucks and machinery. This role is physically demanding but rewarding, directly contributing to community safety and infrastructure functionality. Your work impacts the safety and efficiency of travel across Pennsylvania.

Work Schedule and Additional Info

• Full-time, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
• Travel, overtime, and shift work required; hours may vary seasonally
• Telework: Not available
• Salary: Starting at $43,990.00 annually for new employees within Pennsylvania

Qualifications

Minimum Experience & Training:

• Completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program or equivalent, or
• Graduation from a CDL Training School, or
• Equivalent experience and training

Special Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania Class A or B CDL with Air Brake Restriction removed
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate per FMCSA regulations

Conditions of Employment:

• Obtain active certification from PA Department of Transportation within probation
• Maintain necessary CDL endorsements and certifications
• Operate vehicles with manual transmissions if required
• Subject to Drug and Alcohol testing
