DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Equipment Operator, you will ensure the safety and operation of roadways, especially during winter snow plowing. Your work involves operating heavy machinery, performing minor repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and keeping detailed logs of equipment usage. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
• Travel, overtime, and shift work required; hours may vary seasonally
• No telework option
• Salary may be non-negotiable in some cases

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program or equivalent
• Graduation from a CDL Training School
• Or an equivalent combination of experience and training

Special Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania Class A or B CDL with Air Brake Restriction removed
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate per FMCSA regulations

Conditions of Employment:

• Obtain certification for heavy trucks and equipment within probation
• Maintain necessary CDL endorsements and certifications
• Subject to drug and alcohol testing
