Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Penetration Testing Team Lead to join a premier federal cybersecurity program supporting a major civilian agency. This role requires US citizenship, 12+ years in offensive security, and active Public Trust 6c clearance or the ability to obtain one.

You will lead Red Team and penetration testing engagements across networks, web apps, APIs, and cloud environments, mentor junior testers, and deliver actionable reports to executives while aligning with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK,

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in offensive security and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with federal security standards and frameworks.
• Strong reporting and communication skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and execute Red Team and penetration testing engagements across federal systems.
• Lead test planning, execution, and reporting with thorough documentation.
• Mentor junior testers and evaluate new tools and techniques.
• Produce high-quality reports with findings, risk ratings, and remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with vulnerability management, security engineering, and SOC teams to remediate findings.
