Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Manager for Attack & Penetration Testing to lead sophisticated offensive security engagements, including penetration testing, red team and purple team exercises, across internet, intranet, cloud and mobile targets.

You will mentor junior analysts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, produce clear reports for technical and executive audiences, stay ahead of threat trends, and represent EY at industry events while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or related major.
• 6+ years of related work experience in penetration testing or 3-4+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience managing and executing penetration testing projects.
• Experience with scripting / programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, Perl etc).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify threats and vulnerabilities in enterprise environments through penetration testing, red team, and purple team exercises.
• Lead technical teams and ensure actionable client reports for technical and executive audiences.
• Mentor analysts and foster a collaborative culture while staying current with threat trends.
• Represent EY in industry groups and events.
• Ensure delivery of engagements using established methodologies and rules of engagement.
