Job summary

Saliense Consulting LLC in Virginia is seeking a seasoned penetration tester with 5+ years of experience conducting or supporting penetration tests. The role requires strong OS and networking knowledge, the ability to identify and exploit vulnerabilities, familiarity with web application technologies, and proficiency with testing tools and scripting languages.

A Bachelor of Science in CS/IT/Cybersecurity and certifications such as OSCP or CEH are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in conduct of, supporting the conduct of, or leading penetration tests.
• Strong OS and networking knowledge, and the ability to identify and exploit vulnerabilities.
• Experience with web application technologies and scripting languages; proficient with testing tools.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the conduct of, supporting the conduct of, or leading penetration tests.
• Key skills include a strong understanding of operating systems and networking protocols, strong understanding of how to identify and exploit vulnerabilities, knowledge of web application technologies, proficiency with penetration testing tools and scripting languages and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Education: Batchelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Certifications (required): Certifications comparable to OSCP or CEH.
