Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Nondestructive Testing professional to perform Fluorescent Penetrant inspections on critical flight hardware for spaceflight systems. The role emphasizes safe, repeatable spaceflight and requires NAS-410 proficiency and blueprint interpretation.

Shift: B Shift/2nd shift (4:00PM – 2:30AM), Monday–Thursday. Strong teamwork, documentation, and willingness to work overtime are essential. US citizenship or eligible status is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 2 experience in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection.
• Must pass Penetrant General Test and Specific Test by week 3.
• Must meet NAS-410 training requirements in Penetrant Testing.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Experience with MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections using Fluorescent Penetrant Test (PT) on critical flight hardware.
• Establish and maintain techniques for proper examination.
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly process control checks.
• Document and organize inspection results.
• Interface with Engineers/Managers to discuss inspection results.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
