Monterey Pelvic Health in Monterey, California, is seeking a dedicated Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist for full-time on-site work. You will provide individualized, one-on-one evaluations and treatments, using evidence-informed, whole-body care to address pelvic health concerns.

The role involves comprehensive assessments, manual therapy, exercise prescription, patient education, and coordination with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• DPT degree from an accredited program.
• Active California Physical Therapy license (or eligibility).
• Pelvic health experience preferred; Herman & Wallace, APTA Pelvic Health, or equivalent coursework is highly valued.
• Passion for whole-body movement assessment and individualized patient care.
• Strong manual therapy, exercise prescription, and clinical reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable discussing sensitive topics related to pelvic health and sexual wellness with professionalism and empathy.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, inclusive, and gender-affirming care.
• Self-motivated team player with a desire for continued learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one evaluations and treatments using evidence-informed, whole-body care.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, delivering manual therapy and prescribing therapeutic exercise.
• Educate patients and develop individualized treatment plans; document patient progress.
• Collaborate with fellow providers and coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Support patients through education on pelvic health, movement, lifestyle modifications, and home exercise programs.
• Participate in mentorship, continuing education, collaborative case discussions, and community outreach.
• Foster a positive team culture and support professional growth.
