Kona Medical Consulting seeks a Full-Time Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join a private multidisciplinary clinic in Okinawa, Japan. The role includes comprehensive assessments, evidence-based interventions, and collaborative care with OTs, SLPs, and ABA Therapists.

The position offers full visa sponsorship and a comprehensive relocation package. Ideal candidates have a PT/DPT with pelvic floor experience, English fluency, and an active unrestricted license.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (PT/DPT) with dedicated pelvic floor experience.
• Hands-on pelvic floor patient experience; training through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute or the APTA Pelvic Health academy, or equivalent international training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical intakes, comprehensive physical assessments, and evidence-based interventions for pelvic floor patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Collaborate with an on-site multidisciplinary team (OTs, SLPs, ABA Therapists) to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain clinical documentation and patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA compliance.

• Candidate Requirements
• Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (PT / DPT) with dedicated pelvic floor experience.
• Experience: Hands-on experience working with pelvic floor patients. Preferred training through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute or the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) Pelvic Health academy, though equivalent international training will be considered based on experience.
• Language Skills: Native or professional English fluency.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid, unrestricted state or national license to practice physical therapy independently. Proof of licensure and a clean disciplinary record are required.
• Key Responsibilities

• Relocation Package: A one-time relocation allowance of ¥220,000 JPY upon arrival.
• Housing Support: 50% of monthly rent covered by the company (up to ¥80,000 JPY/month).
• Paid Leave: 15 days of paid vacation plus 12 paid public holidays per year.
