Kona Medical Consulting is seeking a Full-Time Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join a private multidisciplinary clinic in Okinawa. The role requires a Doctorate/Master’s in Physical Therapy with pelvic floor experience and active, unrestricted licensure.

A strong command of English and HIPAA-compliant practice are essential. The position offers visa sponsorship, relocation support, and housing assistance, with a 1-year contract term and long-term commitment preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with pelvic floor experience.
• Hands-on pelvic floor experience; Herman & Wallace or APTA Pelvic Health training preferred, recognized internationally.
• Native or professional English fluency.
• Valid, unrestricted PT license to practice independently; US licensure required or recognized equivalent; provide licensure proof.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical intakes, comprehensive physical assessments, and evidence-based interventions for pelvic floor patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Collaborate with on-site multidisciplinary team (OTs, SLPs, ABA Therapists) to ensure holistic patient care when necessary.
• Maintain clinical documentation and patient privacy per HIPAA-compliant standards.

• Candidate Requirements
• Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (PT / DPT) with dedicated pelvic floor experience.
• Experience: Hands-on experience working with pelvic floor patients. Preferred training through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute or the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) Pelvic Health academy, though equivalent international training will be considered based on experience.
• Language Skills: Native or professional English fluency.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid, unrestricted state or national license to practice physical therapy independently. Proof of licensure and a clean disciplinary record are required.
• Key Responsibilities

• Relocation Package: A one-time relocation allowance of ¥220,000 JPY upon arrival.
