Kona Medical Consulting in Okinawa, Japan, seeks a Full-Time Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our private multidisciplinary clinic. You will lead pelvic floor assessment and therapy, coordinate with OTs, SLPs, and ABA Therapists, and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation. A US license and relocation support are included.

Ideal candidates hold MPT or DPT with pelvic floor specialization, strong English skills, and hands-on pelvic floor experience. Visa sponsorship is provided.

Formación

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy with dedicated pelvic floor experience.
• Hands-on experience working with pelvic floor patients.
• Native or professional English fluency.
• Valid, unrestricted PT license to practice independently in the US (HIPAA compliance).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct clinical intakes and comprehensive physical assessments for pelvic floor patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Collaborate with on-site OTs, SLPs, and ABA Therapists to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain clinical documentation and patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.

• Job Title: Full-Time Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
• Location: Okinawa, Japan

• Candidate Requirements
• Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (PT / DPT) with dedicated pelvic floor experience.
• Experience: Hands-on experience working with pelvic floor patients. Preferred training through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute or the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) Pelvic Health academy, though equivalent international training will be considered based on experience.
• Language Skills: Native or professional English fluency.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid, unrestricted state or national license to practice physical therapy independently. Proof of licensure and a clean disciplinary record are required.
• Key Responsibilities
• Conduct clinical intakes, comprehensive physical assessments, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for pelvic floor patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Collaborate with an on-site multidisciplinary team (OTs, SLPs, and ABA Therapists) to ensure holistic patient care when necessary.
• Maintain clinical documentation and patient privacy in accordance with United States healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA compliance).
• Relocation Package: A one-time relocation allowance of ¥220,000 JPY upon arrival.
• Housing Support: 50% of monthly rent covered by the company (up to ¥80,000 JPY/month).
• Paid Leave: 15 days of paid vacation plus 12 paid public holidays per year.
• Sick Leave: 80 hours of accrued sick leave.
