Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma seeks a licensed physical therapist to administer a physical therapy evaluation and develop and implement a treatment plan tailored to each patient's needs. This role operates under physician direction and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to promote quality care.

Candidates must hold a DPT/MS/B.S. in Physical Therapy and current licensure (Missouri) plus an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited B.S., M.S. or DPT degree program in Physical Therapy.
• Must hold current licensure in the State of Missouri.
• Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period.
• Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: general knowledge of evaluation and treatment principles.
• Working Conditions: heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing.
• Equipment Used: may use office equipment.
• Must demonstrate competency in equipment used for delivery of modalities.
• Push 40 lbs, pull 60 lbs, grip 50 lbs and pinch 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Under physician order, administers a physical therapy evaluation and plans and implements a treatment program.
• Provides advisory service to other interdisciplinary team members to promote quality patient care.
• Functions under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
