Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus Gateway is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and direct therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability. The role includes directing PT programs, documenting care, and coordinating with physicians and staff.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; NC license required; BLS per policy. Pelvic Floor PT experience preferred. Sign‑on bonus eligible based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• NC license for Physical Therapy is required.
• BLS certification is required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops care plans with modalities, exercise programs, and patient education as warranted by the diagnosis and discharge needs.
• Gathers data from medical records, physician reports, patient, and family to document the care plan.
• Establishes functional goals with the patient and provides evidence-based interventions with ongoing plan of care adjustments.
• Documents evaluations, tests, progress, discharge notes, and charges as needed.
• Communicates evaluation results and progress to physicians, referral sources, and other clinical staff; coordinates schedules and discharge planning.
• Provides supervision of PTA's and Rehab Tech/Aide as required for licensure.
