Job summary

Origin in Austin, TX is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist with a focus on women’s health and pelvic floor therapy. You will evaluate movement and design individualized plans to guide patients through recovery using evidence-based therapies.

The role includes supervising at least one student rotation per year, collaborating with clinicians, and contributing to outcomes while benefiting from comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas.
• Interest in women’s health and pelvic floor therapy.
• Recent grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize information from referrals, medical records, imaging, intake forms and subjective history taking.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations and goal alignment.
• Develop individualized care plans with patient goals and expected outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to achieve patient goals.
• Evaluate and document patient progress and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Educate patients about recovery expectations and coping strategies.
• Follow up with patients to improve adherence to the plan of care.
• Connect with providers and organizations to raise awareness of therapies offered by the clinic.
• Clinical instruction of at least 1 student rotation per year after the first year.
• Other tasks as assigned.
