Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company in Richmond, VA seeks a Test Engineer with a strong background in designing and executing functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing for Pega applications. The role involves developing and executing test plans, performing regression testing with SOAP UI, and validating Pega WSDLs and web services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
5+ years software testing experience including test automation.
Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
US permanent resident, lived in the US 3 of the past 5 years.
Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression testing.
Experience with API testing using SOAPUI, Insomnia, or Postman.
Experience with accessibility testing (JAWS).
Proficient in SQL queries.
4+ years using test management tools (Confluence/Jira/HP ALM/Azure DevOps).
Experience in SAFe Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans and scripts for functional, regression, performance, and Section 508 testing.
Perform regression testing using SOAP UI and validate Pega WSDLs.
Conduct end-to-end testing of Pega applications to ensure alignment with business, technical, and functional requirements.
Perform accessibility testing using JAWS.
Translate requirements into detailed test plans and test cases.
Execute manual and automated test cases and capture evidence.
Document and track defects; support defect triage.
Support User Acceptance Testing activities.
Manage multiple tasks and priorities; apply standardized testing methods.
Escalate issues through project channels.
