Job summary

Bow Wave LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a QA tester with Pega experience to design and execute functional tests for Pega applications. You will collaborate with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to gather requirements, craft test scenarios, and ensure acceptance criteria are met.

Responsibilities include validating functionality against business requirements, documenting defects, and supporting timely resolution.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional QA/testing experience.
Hands-on experience with Pega functional testing tools and QA testing approaches for Pega applications.
Strong foundation in QA principles, test case development, defect tracking, and regression testing.
Ability to translate requirements into detailed test scenarios and identify gaps.
Familiarity with Agile/iterative development (Scrum or Kanban).
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to document defects and risks clearly.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for Pega applications.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and acceptance criteria.
Validate system functionality against business requirements and user stories.
Identify, document, and track defects; support resolution with engineering.
Assist with test planning, scope definition, and effort estimation.
Maintain regression suites and functional test artifacts; update as needed.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support testing across iterations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across SDLC.
Analyze results, identify risks, and provide actionable feedback to teams.
