We are currently seeking a Pega Lead System Architect to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Pega Lead System Architect Pega Practice

A group company within NTT DATA is seeking a Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to join our Pega digital practice. Reporting to the solution/delivery leadership, the Pega Lead System Architect manages collaboration between business and technical teams throughout customer engagement. The candidate should have experience in Pega Low-Code Approach using Pega App Studio, Pega DCO, conducting elaboration sessions, and working with project teams to provide expert advice on business requirements and optimal design based on industry knowledge.

The ideal candidate must have a strong technical and business analysis background, be hands-on, and prepared to lead Pega project architecture. Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills (oral and written) are essential. Certified Lead System Architects should be capable of independent thinking while valuing teamwork to deliver top-tier software solutions collaboratively.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and drive architectural design and integration strategy for Pega application implementations, aligned with transformational initiatives.
  2. Formulate the overall data strategy based on business needs and enterprise strategy.
  3. Provide architectural guidance and act as subject matter expert for integration strategy.
  4. Promote best practices and concepts as a thought leader in Pega methodology.
  5. Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies related to architectural solutions.
  6. Ensure solutions align with business and IT goals.
  7. Identify and quantify the scope and impact of business requirements and changes.
  8. Communicate solution options to stakeholders (e.g., architecture reviews).
  9. Incorporate infrastructure, network, and system architecture into designs for scalable, high-performance solutions.
  10. Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise technology standards.
  11. Develop standards and practices where they do not yet exist.
  12. Manage requirement and solution artifacts throughout the project lifecycle.
  13. Facilitate open communication and fact-based decision making.
  14. Review and guide team work, providing mentoring and support.
  15. Develop innovative approaches for complex assignments.
  16. Proactively develop solutions to meet customer needs.
  17. Research and recommend industry best practices.
  18. Forecast and plan resource requirements.
  19. Motivate and lead team members effectively.
Education and Experience
  1. 8+ years’ experience in architecting and developing integration solutions.
  2. 5+ years’ experience with Pega implementations.
  3. Proven communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders.
  4. Experience with product development practices and methodologies.
  5. Master/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  6. Ability to deliver end-to-end Pega PRPC solutions/projects.
  7. Strong skills in process optimization and streamlining.
  8. Extensive knowledge of Pega PRPC architecture, rules, and frameworks.
  9. Experience with multi-language, localization, NLP rules, and knowledge management.
  10. Familiarity with UI frameworks, skins, rule management, DevOps, SSO, security roles, RDA, RPA, and integration principles.
  11. Proficiency in J2EE, .NET, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL.
  12. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  13. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  14. Exposure to Healthcare, Insurance, Airlines, Travel, & Hospitality sectors is a plus.
  15. Knowledge of GDPR is a plus.
Additional Information

Willingness to travel. Preferred locations include Irving, Plano, Nashville, Bangalore, or virtual.

Qualifications

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in relevant areas.

Nice to Have (but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Pega Capabilities and Express Methodology.
  • Experience in UML, requirement management tools, Agile methodologies, and industry-specific knowledge.
