Job summary

Techstra Solutions is seeking a Pega Lead Business Architect to drive business-to-technical alignment and design for complex payment workflows, leveraging PSI within financial operations. You will mentor analysts and review functional artifacts while guiding delivery teams across the project lifecycle.

The role requires banking operations expertise, Pega LBA certification, and extensive experience with payment processing, exception management, and risk controls. Based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in large banking/financial institutions with payment ops and exception workflows.
• Pega LBA certification and expertise.
• Experience with PSI and Pega Infinity v25+ with Constellation.
• Knowledge of payment operations, risk, and regulatory controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead business-technical alignment and design of Pega-based payment solutions.
• Translate requirements and review user stories and designs.
• Guide and support business analysts and system architects.
• Facilitate problem resolution between business stakeholders and development teams.

Role Overview

The Pega Lead Business Architect (LBA) role adds leadership of business-to-technical alignment, solution design for complex payment workflows, requirements translation, guidance and support for technical teams, design reviews, and use of modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance financial operations and dispute management initiatives. Lead Pega LBA with strong banking operations expertise, payment domain depth, and stakeholder leadership experience. Creates and leads the functional design and development of Pega-based payment solutions, specifically leveraging Pega Smart Investigate for Payments (PSI).Proposes & designs business workflow solutions to address complex banking operational needs. Prepares functional, operational, and procedural documentation required.Facilitates complex problem resolution between business stakeholders and technical development teams.Provides guidance and support to business analysts and system architects. Reviews user stories, case designs, and functional documentation.Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance payment processing capabilities and operational efficiency.

Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized banking solutions.

Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with payment processing, clearing cycles, and dispute resolution to ensure they adhere to and support the company's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
