Job summary

Seneca Resources seeks an experienced Pega Developer to support a high-impact federal program in Washington, DC. The role requires design, development, and deployment of Pega-based applications within a secure government environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Pega Platform (PRPC) expertise, enterprise integration experience, and strong debugging and BPM skills. On-site work five days per week is required, with opportunities to contribute to mission-critical processes.

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance (Required).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience developing enterprise applications using the Pega Platform (PRPC).
  • Strong knowledge of Pega Application Development, Pega Architecture, Case Management, Workflow Automation, BPM.
  • Experience integrating Pega applications with enterprise systems and web services.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC, five days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and deploy enterprise applications using the Pega Platform (PRPC).
  • Customize Pega solutions to meet business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Develop reusable components and scalable workflows following Pega best practices.
  • Integrate Pega applications with enterprise systems, APIs, and third-party platforms.
  • Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security standards, coding best practices, and government compliance requirements.
  • Support ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and optimization of existing Pega applications.

Location: Washington, DC

Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret Security Clearance (Required)

Position Status: Contract W2

Pay Rate: $60/HR ON W2

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Pega Developer to support a high-impact federal program in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a skilled application developer with expertise in the Pega Platform (PRPC) who enjoys designing and implementing scalable enterprise solutions in a secure government environment.

As a member of a collaborative Agile team, you will design, develop, configure, and deploy Pega-based applications that support mission-critical business processes. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in Pega application development, enterprise integrations, workflow automation, and application architecture. This position requires working on-site five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and deploy enterprise applications using the Pega Platform (PRPC).

  • Experience integrating Pega applications with enterprise systems and web services
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment
  • Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC, five days per week
Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more Pega certifications:
    • Certified System Architect (CSA)
    • Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
    • Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA)
  • Experience supporting federal government or Department of Justice programs
  • Experience with enterprise application integration, REST/SOAP APIs, and workflow automation
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
  • Experience supporting secure, large-scale enterprise applications
