Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is seeking a developer to build, configure, and support CRM solutions on the Pega platform. The role supports member services, care management, and operational workflows.

You will collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders, participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies, and ensure scalable, compliant applications aligned with security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3-4 years of software development experience.
• 1–2 years of experience with the Pega CRM platform.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure applications using the Pega CRM platform.
• Translate requirements into functional solutions with guidance from seniors.
• Build and maintain case types, workflows, UI components, and decisioning rules.
• Assist in integrating Pega applications with APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing.
• Troubleshoot defects and production issues.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Contribute to documentation including technical design and release notes.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
