Job summary

Blood Cancer United is seeking a mission-driven fundraiser in Chicago to build relationships with fundraising volunteers and advance peer-to-peer products that drive revenue for our mission. You will collaborate with education, services and health research teams to align programs with organizational priorities and mobilize local donors.

The role requires 3–5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to supervise volunteers across local campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3–5 years fundraising or nonprofit experience.
• Ability to supervise volunteers and coordinate committees.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with digital, social media and online fundraising channels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Education, Services and Health Research to communicate Blood Cancer United’s mission and priorities.
• Organize local donor cultivation events and prospect high‑impact donors for national stewardship.
• Drive and refine peer‑to‑peer fundraising to meet revenue goals; contribute to strategic planning and budgeting.
• Recruit and manage volunteer committees; develop recruitment plans and secure new partners.
