Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is seeking a Peer Support Specialist for the Rapid Response Team in Manchester, NH. The role supports individuals with substance use disorders, drawing on lived experience to empower recovery and personal goal achievement.
This full-time position offers a 40-hour week with day/evening shifts, a $20.50–$30.42 hourly pay range, and a $5k sign-on bonus for full-time clinical roles.

As a Peer Support Specialist on the Rapid Response Team, you will be an important member of a team supporting individuals with substance use disorders. Using your own lived experiences with recovery, you will build meaningful relationships that empower patients to achieve their personal goals. In this role, you will support patients by offering empathy, encouragement, and practical guidance. You will play an essential part in supporting our patients in building recovery capital—the internal strengths and external resources that sustain long‑term recovery.
Experience working as a peer specialist in a mental health center setting and/or substance misuse services is highly recommended.
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
