Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Peer Specialist for Respite to help create welcoming, supportive environments in residential and community programs. Using lived experience, you will guide and connect people served to community resources during intake, planning, and treatment, while supporting on-site and community-based participants.

The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care with a focus on navigation, resource linkage, and collaborative relationships to enhance the respite

• Provide people served with support, information, and assistance in connecting with and obtaining community-based resources and services throughout the program intake, Action Planning process and the course of treatment.
• Support persons served on site and in community settings.

Job description

Peer Specialist - Respite

Peer Specialists help to make respite services welcoming, comfortable, supportive, and responsive to individuals who utilize them within the residential and community program.

Using their personal experience and knowledge of navigating the greater system of care, Peer Specialists provide people served with support, information, and assistance in connecting with and obtaining community-based resources and services throughout the program intake, Action Planning process and the course of treatment.

The Peer Specialist supports persons served on site and in community settings.

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

Pay Rate: $22.27/hourly

• additional $1 for CPS
• additional $2 for CARC
