Job summary

Riverside Community Care seeks a Peer Specialist to help make respite services welcoming, comfortable, and responsive for individuals who utilize them within residential and community programs.

Using personal lived experience, you will provide people served with support, information, and assistance in connecting with community resources throughout intake, Action Planning, and treatment. The role supports clients on site and in community settings.

Peer Specialist

Peer Specialists help to make respite services welcoming, comfortable, supportive, and responsive to individuals who utilize them within the residential and community program.

Using their personal experience and knowledge of navigating the greater system of care, Peer Specialists provide people served with support, information, and assistance in connecting with and obtaining community-based resources and services throughout the program intake, Action Planning process and the course of treatment.

The Peer Specialist supports persons served on site and in community settings.

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $22.27/hourly

• additional $1 for CPS
• additional $2 for CARC
