Job summary

Rescue Mission of Trenton is seeking a compassionate Peer Specialist for a full-time, in-person role in Trenton, NJ. You will support clients in recovery, build trusting relationships, and help them move through treatment with encouragement and guidance.

Qualifications

• Personal recovery experience and a desire to help others.
• Peer Specialist experience preferred but not required.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to complete documentation.
• Ability to work one of the assigned shifts (see schedule).

This is not a remote job.As a Peer Specialist, you will play an important role in the lives of our clients by providing support, understanding, and encouragement throughout their recovery.
