Job summary

QuickCruit seeks a Peer Recovery Support Specialist I to provide recovery support services within inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include patient orientation, data entry, supervision, searches, and UA testing as per policy.

The role supports education, coaching, transportation, advocacy, and coordination of services to promote recovery and self-sufficiency among patients with SUD and/or mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient orientation for new patients to include unit tour, issuing of patient handbook, group schedule, and linens.
• Assist in completion of data entry into Avatar for admissions and discharges as assigned.
• Supervise and monitor patient activities to account for patient’s whereabouts at all times to include documented patient census count throughout the overnight hours (inpatient and residential units).
• Conduct body and property searches of patients in accordance with the search policy and procedure and maintain annual certification in these procedures.
