Greater Nashua Mental Health Center in Nashua, NH is seeking a compassionate Peer Recovery Support Specialist to help individuals engage in treatment, build recovery capital, and access community resources. The role leverages lived recovery experience, provides one-on-one and group peer support, and collaborates with therapists and case managers to support recovery goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• CCAR Recovery Coach Academy training required or obtainable.
• CRSW certification preferred.
• Lived experience in recovery required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of community recovery resources.
• Documentation skills for Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and electronic medical records
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation required.
