Pacific Clinics is seeking a dedicated Peer Partner to provide support, guidance, and mentorship to individuals facing similar challenges. You will offer empathy, share personal experiences, and help clients navigate recovery journeys within a respectful, confidential framework.

Build trusting relationships, set goals, connect clients to community resources, and collaborate with a holistic care team to promote recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent education/experience may count toward this requirement.
• Direct experience as a recipient of behavioral health or recovery services is expected.
• Ability to work effectively with people facing mental health or life challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provides peer-based support and mentorship to individuals facing similar life challenges.
• Shares personal experiences to foster hope and connection in a respectful manner.
• Builds trusting, non-judgmental relationships to support recovery or growth.
• Offers guidance and practical strategies for navigating systems and life challenges.
• Assists individuals in identifying strengths, setting goals, and developing self-advocacy skills.
• Connects individuals to community resources, support groups, and services.
• Encourages empowerment, resilience, and personal responsibility.
• Collaborates with service providers and team members as part of a holistic network.
• Maintains boundaries and confidentiality in all peer interactions.
• Documents interactions and progress according to program guidelines.
