Qualifications

• Must be a Peer, defined as someone in recovery from addiction to drugs or alcohol.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPRS preferred; if not certified, certification required within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Supports clients in building social skills in the community to enhance job acquisition.
• Models effective coping techniques and self-help strategies.
• Performs duties as assigned by the Peer Recovery Supervisor.
• Supports clients in articulating personal recovery and wellness goals.
