Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Part-time Evening Substance Use Disorder Peer Recovery Specialist at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center in Baltimore, MD. You will support patients in their recovery, lead groups, and help connect them to resources in a corrections setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma, PRSS certification, CPR/BLS certification, and 1+ year of relevant experience. Ability to obtain security clearance and pass drug/background checks is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) required.
• 1 year or more experience working with patients and linking to resources.
• Experience in corrections preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead recovery groups and build community relationships.
• Support patients in substance use and detox/recovery process.
• Provide resources and referrals to patients as part of recovery planning.
