Santé is a community-based behavioral health services organization that provides rapid response and compassionate care. This position is located in Westminster, MD, with the Carroll County Crisis Response Team.
Position
Peer Recovery Specialist – Part‑time, overnight shifts (Saturdays & Sundays).
What You’ll Do
- Self‑identify as a Peer and provide peer support to consumers and families.
- Assist in performing on‑scene assessments, including danger, suicide, and environmental assessments.
- Perform crisis intervention and stabilization, including de‑escalation, crisis planning, and implementation.
- Create appropriate referral recommendations and develop treatment plans using available agency and community resources.
- Partner with local law enforcement and other community providers.
- Complete documentation in a thorough and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and county regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of related experience.
- Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to be certified within one (1) year of employment (Santé will pay for certification if not currently held).
- At least two (2) years in full recovery and three (3) years of lived experience with mental illness, substance abuse, or a co‑occurring disorder.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.
Benefits & Compensation

- Part time, weekends (Saturday and Sundays)
- 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- 4:00 pm to 12:00 am
- 12:00 am to 8:00 am (overnight)
- Up to 20% pay differential for overnight shifts
- Salary Range
- $20.00 to $22.00 per hour without certification
- $23.00 to $24.00 per hour once certified
