The Peer Recovery Specialist under the direction of the Behavioral Health Medical Director will have a strong understanding of addiction and recovery processes, providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This role involves conducting individual and group non-clinical, strength‑based support, performing patient assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans to facilitate recovery. The Peer Recovery Specialist will also engage in case management and crisis intervention, ensuring that clients receive the necessary resources and support throughout their recovery journey.
